Today saw the first internal competition of the year: a mostly-for-fun fixed jack tournament, with four teams of pairs playing round-robin in the morning and twelve teams of triples in the afternoon.
The fixed jack format is more often encountered in singles play and in a team game it adds some unique challenges when the head is crowded with woods yet there’s no way to move the jack.
Congratulations to Dave both for organising but also for winning the morning session! I’m sure nobody suspects anything…
